Dr. Rao went on to complete his fellowship training in vascular neurology and interventional neurology through ProMedica Toledo Hospital and the University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, and Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology.
