As an Eagle Scout I live and practice medicine by these principles, and as your doctor look forward to us creating a relationship based on trust and clear communication. I follow an evidence-based approach that includes proactive care, screening and prevention, and I encourage your involvement each step of the way. | Why I entered medicine | I developed my interest in medicine very early while volunteering for an emergency medical services (EMS) squad. I loved the one-to-one connection with the patient, as well as the intellectual challenge of determining the best treatment given the specific symptoms. Family medicine allows me to care for the entire family, from newborns to great-grandparents, and to be involved in the community. | Community involvement | As a Boy Scout I got involved with community service at a young age. As an adult I performed high school sports physicals. I expect to continue my active involvement in community service in the Lehigh Valley area. | Personal interests | My wife and I have a new baby. When possible, I enjoy playing sports, hiking, working out and trying new restaurants. I am a fan of Philadelphia sports teams.
