Kristin Caldera, DO, is a UW Health physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor and an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She provides long-term rehabilitation care for people with neurological injuries and developmental disorders.Dr. Caldera regularly works with adults who’ve experienced spinal cord and brain injuries and those who’ve had a stroke. She also works with patients who have multiple sclerosis (MS) and developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida. He’s part of a team of orthopedic spine surgeons and other specialists who work in a dedicated spinal care clinic.Dr. Leonard manages injury-related pain, post-operative pain and chronic (ongoing) spinal pain. His patient-centered approach to care includes listening to patients’ concerns and treatment goals. He takes time to educate them about a variety of treatment approaches and options.
