Dr. Umasuthan Srikumaran is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. Specializing in shoulder surgery, Dr. Srikumaran treats patients with shoulder pain, rotator cuff disease, traumatic injuries, instability or dislocations, fractures, osteoarthritis or other sports related injuries. He is also interested in exploring same-day joint replacement surgery to help patients minimize time in the hospital and maximize return to function.
