Dr. Albert J. Fenoy

Dr. Albert Fenoy is the director of functional neurosurgery at Northwell Health. As an experienced, world-renowned neurosurgeon specializing in complex brain and spinal disorders, he acts as the Director of Functional Neurosurgery at Northwell Health. After obtaining his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine, he completed his residency at the University Iowa followed by fellowship training at CHU Grenoble in France. He began his career at The University of Texas Science Center at Houston, where Dr. Fenoy became prominent for innovating the field of functional neurosurgery. Dr. Fenoy is also a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
