He participates in clinical research evaluating new techniques for treatment of atrial fibrillation and novel devices to treat heart failure and slow heart rhythms. He is a fellow in the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology. He participates in the standard setting process for American Board of Internal Medicine Clinical Electrophysiology recertification examinations (CMP).
