Dr. Smith performs minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary stent implantation, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR), the MitraClip procedure, patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, paravalvular leak (PVL) closure, percutaneous therapies for left atrial appendage closure (Watchman, Amulet), and transcatheter therapies for comprehensive management of veno-occlusive disease including pulmonary embolism.
