Dr. Gennaro Giustino is an Interventional Cardiologist with coronary, endovascular and structural heart disease training. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital - Icahn School of Medicine in New York, during which he served as Chief Fellow under Dr Valentin Fuster. This allowed me to truly appreciate the value of medicine and the importance of bridging the gap between engineering and medicine. Today I find the constant progress within cardiovascular treatments inspiring due to rapid innovation that brings minimally invasive therapies to our patients. I am consistently energized and motivated by patients who benefit from quicker recovery, better outcomes, and improved survival rates. Cardiology is a dynamic field seeing prolific advancement on all fronts, with interventional cardiology at the forefront of many leading-edge technologies. I find my work meaningful as well as impactful. | Community involvement | As a native of the Lehigh Valley, I am eager to leverage my expertise to give back to the community that fostered my growth.
