Overview
Dr. Jasani has been a pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine physician in Gwinnett since 2001. He has a special interest and is well recognized in the evaluation and management of sleep disorders. He is a founding medical director of Gwinnett Sleep, sleep disorders center of Gwinnett Pulmonary Group.
Dr. Jasani has published several peer reviewed scientific articles and book chapters in sleep and pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Jasani has also served as the chief of medicine at Northside Hospital Gwinnett and Duluth.

He served 11 years as an active duty Pulmonary/Critical Care physician in the United State Navy. During his time on active duty, he served one tour in Afghanistan 2016 delivering critical care medicine to forward deployed active duty servicemen during Operation Freedom Sentinel. His experience as a military physician includes trauma in an austere environment, management of patients with pulmonary disease, teaching fundamentals of critical care support to family residents, Navy Seals and Marine MARSOC, and was ICU medical director in Kandahar and Camp Lejeune.Dr. Hedelius has been a critical care bedside ultrasonography instructor with the American College of Chest Physicians for over 4 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary and Critical care medicine. Dr. Hedelius is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians.Dr. Hedelius specializes in adult Pulmonary disease and Critical Care Medicine.
