Michael W. Cheng, M.D., graduated from Emory University summa cum laude with highest honors and was elected to the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. After earning undergraduate degrees in biology and sociology, he attended medical school at the University of Florida. Dr. Cheng continued his medical studies with internal medicine residency at Emory University, and then furthered his education with sub-specialization in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
