Dr. Karl M. Larsen

Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate degree with a major in physics and a minor in Spanish at Middlebury College in Vermont. He completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Davis’ fellowship experience includes hand surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center, Jefferson University, and shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Cornell University Hospital in New York City. Dr. Davis joined Colorado Orthopedics Consultants in 1996. He is a past president of the Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery, with added qualification in surgery of the hand. Dr. Kobayashi retired from the United States Air Force in 2014 with many decorations after several deployments to combat zones. He has extensive experience in combat casualty care and reconstruction. He has been staff and assistant program director for the Wilford Hall Air Force Orthopedic Residency Program in San Antonio, TX. He is actively involved in research & education and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Kobayashi was elected to serve on the Board of Specialties for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons for education.  He has been the team physician for the Air Force Academy sports programs and is currently a consultant for the Olympic Training Center.
