Dr. Fisher was born and raised in Philadelphia area. His grandfather was a family physician in Wilkes-Barre with an office on Academy Street. His father practiced anesthesia for 45 years at Hahnemann Hospital. Dr. Fisher is a dog lover, particularly golden retrievers. His hobbies include history, reading, travel, golf, cooking and wine.
