Priya Rastogi, MD, is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Rastogi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Miami University at Oxford, Ohio. She earned her MD at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where she received the Resident of the Year Award. Her Fellowship was completed at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. During her fellowship, Dr. Rastogi's research was focused on Herceptin-induced cardiotoxicity, and she was awarded a grant from the National Surgical Breast and Bowel Project. Dr. Rastogi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is an associate member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research. She has several abstracts and research articles in leading journals, including Seminars in Breast Disease, Oncology, and Diseases of the Breast. Dr. Rastogi practices in the Womens Cancer Center at Magee-Womens Hospital will see over 125 new breast cancer consultations and over 1250 patient visits in 2004. Dr. Rastogi has participated in the Introduction to Being a Physician course for first year medical students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine for two years and is also active within the community for lectures and presentations. Dr. Brufsky is a member of professional organizations, such as American Medical Association, Massachusetts Medical Society, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, Allegheny County Medical Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Pennsylvania Oncologic Society. An active researcher, Dr. Brufsky has numerous abstracts and research articles in leading journals, and is principal investigator on a number of research grants funded by the National Institutes of Health, Susan G.
