Dr. James A. Tiesi was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois and completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois, Michael Reese and Cook County Hospitals in Chicago. He has extensive training and experience in neurotrauma. Dr. Tiesi joined Neurospinal Associates in 1996. Dr. Tiesi’s interests include endurance sports and the study of eastern philosophies. He is the proud father of 2 accomplished sons, Christopher and Alexander. He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS).
