He understands that dealing with neurological illnesses is often an uncertain time in an individual's life and that many of these illnesses can be painful and debilitating. However, good results are often achieved when the patient and doctor work together as a team. Thus, after obtaining a comprehensive history of the illness from the patient, he likes to break down how specific treatments, including non-surgical management, may alleviate symptoms and then makes the decision together with the patient about the best course of treatment. If a surgical course is decided upon, he utilizes the most cutting edge technologies to provide precision care.
