
Overview
Dr. Goren specializes in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery. His clinical interests include stroke and its surgical treatment, the treatment of idiopathic intracranial hypertension, treatment of brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and fistulas, cavernous malformations, moyamoya disease, carotid stenosis, trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm. He earned his medical degree from Semmelweis University, completed his residency at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel and completed his fellowship in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle. He is an associate program director for the Geisinger neurosurgical residency program and a clinical assistant professor at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
