Dr. Brian K Whisenant

Arvind Hoskoppal, MD, MHS, is an adult congenital and pediatric cardiologist and is certified in adult congenital cardiology, pediatric cardiology, pediatrics, and internal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the director of the UPMC Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program and is an associate professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and completed his residency at Creighton University, pediatric cardiology fellowship at University of California, San Francisco, and adult congenital heart disease fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Hoskoppal has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Adult Congenital Heart Association and the International Society of Adult Congenital Heart Disease. When not at work Dr. Hoskoppal enjoys playing tennis, running, traveling, trying exotic cuisines and riding his bike. He recently moved to Pittsburgh with his wife and two young kids.
