His area of sub-specialization is Pediatric Glaucoma in which he has written a book chapter. He has numerous publications in pediatric ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS-Glasgow).
