His clinical interests include pancreatic surgery, melanoma, endocrine surgery, esophageal cancer and minimally invasive surgery. His research interests include pancreatic cancer, melanoma and outcomes research. Dr. Blansfield earned his medical degree from Georgetown University. He completed his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital and his fellowship in surgical oncology at the National Institutes of Health Center for Cancer Research.
