Overview
Dr. Andrew Dennish grew up in San Diego as the son of a cardiologist. He attended college at UCLA, where he received his B.S. in marine biology in 1996. He then attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, receiving his M.D. in 2001. He trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, from 2001 through 2007.Dr. Dennish is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. He is the Chief of Staff at Templeton’s Twin Cities Community Hospital. His professional interests include preventive cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging and the management of chronic cardiac conditions such as coronary disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. During his training, he participated in designing and supporting hospital-based programs for the rapid triage and assessment of chest pain, as well as a statewide network to rapidly treat heart attack victims.In his spare time, Dr. Dennish enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and following sports. Dr. Dennish work in both our Templeton and SLO Diagnostic offices.

Central Coast Comprehensive Cardiovascular Imaging
Alex Harrison, MD, FACC is a board certified cardiologist serving the community of Santa Maria as well as offering noninvasive outpatient cardiovascular imaging services at C4 Imaging. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of California, San Diego. He then completed internal medicine training with Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of California, Irvine. He performs angiograms and implants pacemakers and defibrillators. Additionally, he has clinical and research expertise in the cutting edge field of cardiovascular imaging including appropriate use and interpretation of cardiac CT angiography and cardiac MRI studies. He founded Santa Marias first outpatient cardiac nuclear myocardial perfusion program and is the Director of Central Coast Comprehensive Cardiovascular (C4) Imaging. He was named in 2011 and currently acts as the Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department at Marian Regional Medical Center. He was elected by his peers to serve as the Chief of Cardiology at Marian Regional Medical Center for 2012 and 2013. Dr. Harrison is fluent in both English and Spanish; his services are available to adult cardiovascular patients. I completed my residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans. While at the Scripps Clinic, I completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology as well as a fellowship in Structural Heart Disease and Peripheral Vascular Interventions, receiving an additional year of formal training in transcatheter aortic valve replacement, Watchman left atrial appendage closure, ASD/PFO closure, mitral valve repair, and peripheral vascular interventions.I'm a past fellow-in-training member of the Interventional Scientific Council for the American College of Cardiology and a current member of the Interventional Writing Group. I'm also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).My goal is to provide outstanding cardiovascular care to Bakersfield and the southern San Joaquin Valley.
