Dr. Belinda Brown-Saddler has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and joined Piedmont Healthcare in 2005. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and completed her internship and residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Department of Family Practice. Prior to joining Piedmont, she was active duty in the United States Navy and served as a physician at the Naval Ambulatory Care Center in Groton, Connecticut. During her time there, she had hospital privileges and rounded on patients of all ages at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut and Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London, Connecticut. She was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander after serving 4 years of active duty.
Dr. Brown-Saddler is known for her warm personality and her belief in caring for the whole person - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She is excited about participating in a new Piedmont program where she has the time to focus more intently on her patients' long-term health and wellness.
In her spare time, Dr. Brown-Saddler enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is also a fitness enthusiast who enjoys boot camps and spin classes as well as outdoor activities.

He has also worked at the National Youth Service Primary Healthcare Center in Katsina, Nigera and at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New Hampshire Academy of Family Physicians. His focus includes preventive medicine and the treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease. Dr Akinmade believes that his patients are vital parts of the healthcare team and emphasizes the patient-centered medical home model in which the patient-provider relationship is critical for success. He believes in treating the whole individual where patients are real people with real needs. In his free time, Dr Akinmade enjoys spending time with his wife and two young kids. He also enjoys football, tennis and soccer. Dr. Akinmade welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
