Dr. Anantha Krishna

Anantha Krishna, MBBS, MD, FACP, FACC, fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology, has been practicing medicine since 1987. He sees patients ages 18 and over at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Cardiology. His areas of interest include arrhythmia, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease and preventive cardiology.Dr. Krishna’s approach to patient care is to treat patients with compassion and take the time to listen to them. “My favorite part of my job is the moment when my patient gets well with my treatment,” he said. He was inspired to become a physician by a desire for service, and chose his specialty because, he said, it was an “opportunity to treat the No. 1 killer.”Dr. Krishna holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree as well as a medical degree. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, spending time with his family, vacationing and watching sports like cricket and tennis.
