In addition to taking care of his patients, Dr. Albert served as the chief of primary care internal medicine for nearly a decade. He joined Johns Hopkins Personalized Care in 2024 to practice primary care internal medicine full-time. In 2016, Dr. Albert was inducted into the Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Academy of Clinical Excellence. Dr. Albert has received teaching awards for medical school and resident education, and has partnered with numerous Johns Hopkins researchers on primary care studies focused on improving cardiovascular and metabolic health. Dr. Albert lives with his wife and their two teenage children. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, as well as sailing, water sports, skiing and other outdoor activities with his family and friends.
