Dr. Eric Berens is a board-certified vascular surgeon, recognized for his groundbreaking work as one of the first U.S. surgeons to perform endoluminal stent-graft repair for abdominal aortic aneurysms. He is also a leader in the application of atherectomy techniques for peripheral arterial disease in Southern Arizona.
Dr. Berens graduated from the University of Arizona Medical School and furthered his expertise as an instructor of vascular surgery at Washington University. His commitment to innovation led him to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Since 1992, Dr. Berens has served the Tucson community, and in 2002, he established the Arizona EndoVascular Center, a hub of excellence in vascular care.
