He has also received teaching awards, including the “House Staff Award for Excellence in Teaching” and the “Worthington B. Schenk Resident Teacher of the Year Award” at the State University of New York at Buffalo, NY. Additionally, he held the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine from 2015 to 2020.
