She then completed a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by a pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, she earned her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine with concurrent completion of a clinical pharmacoepidemiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine as part of a NIH T32 program. Dr. Blatz will care for children in the pediatric intensive care unit as well as those being treated by the infectious diseases service. Her research interests are pediatric sepsis and acute viral syndromes in critically ill children.
