Dr. Akhtar specializes in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Piedmont Augusta. His clinical interests include Cardiac MRI, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Right Heart Catheterizations. In his spare time, Dr. Akhtar enjoys spending time with his family, and playing golf.
