In 2019 Northwest Neurology was acquired by Wellstar Hospital, where Dr. Bashuk continued to practice medicine until 2021 when he joined The Concussion Center as the Medical Director.Dr. Bashuk aims to provide thorough evaluation of patients who have suffered head injuries with the hopes of reducing the length of time patients have to suffer from their symptoms. He oversees all diagnostic and treatment services performed at The Concussion Center which includes, but not limited to: Buffalo Concussion Treadmill Testing, Cognitive Evaluations/Diagnostics, Ocular-Motor/Vestibular Diagnostics, Electroencephalography (EEG), Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies/Electromyography (NCV/EMG) and the Headache/Migraine Management Program.Dr. Bashuk utilizes an individualized approach for evaluation and management so that all areas of concern are addressed properly. This ensures each patient is thoroughly evaluated while also ensuring no unnecessary testing is performed.In his spare time, Dr. Bashuk enjoys going to any Atlanta-based sporting event; especially the Atlanta Braves baseball and University of Georgia Football games.
