Dr. Maen Abdelrahim

Dr. Sara Bedrose specializes in disorders of the adrenal gland including adrenal nodules, incidentaloma, indeterminate adrenal nodules, adrenal cancer, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia in adults. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine - Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine.Her clinical interests include: endocrine neoplasia disorders including immunotherapy-related endocrine side effects. She also treats bone disorders such as osteoporosis and osteomalacia as well as general endocrine diseases and diabetes.Dr. Bedrose received her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She completed her residency in internal medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. She also earned a Master of Sciences degree in Clinical Research from RUSH University in Chicago. She completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine, where she received the Glenn Cunningham Award for Clinical Excellence; and a research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and is board eligible for the ABIM’s Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism certification.In addition to English, Dr. Bedrose speaks Arabic. She completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Alabama at Birmingham and a clinical fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine.She is a member of the American College of Clinical Endocrinology, Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, Indian Doctor's Association, and the Texas Endocrine Association.Dr. Gaba is the recipient of the “Women in Excellence Award” for her exceptional contribution to the issues that affect women at BCM and in the larger community; and is dedicated to access and equity in medical education and healthcare through transformative leadership and practice.
