He received an American College of Cardiology Emerging Faculty Award, has led many educational events nationally and internationally on various cardiovascular topics, and regularly presents on sudden cardiac arrest at national meetings. He previously served as chair of the American College of Cardiology’s Sports and Exercise Section.
