Dr. Robert A. Vanderweele

Robert P. Edwards, MD, is the Chair of Ob/Gyn/RS at  UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. Dr. Edwards is co-leader of the UPMC Gynecologic Cancer Program, and a professor of medicine in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.Dr. Edwards specializes in all aspects of gynecologic oncology, and has a particular interest in intraperitoneal chemotherapy. and immunotherapty. Dr. Edwards is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as gynecologic oncology. He received an undergraduate degree at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa., and received a medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Edwards completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
