Dr. Laidlaw is an assistant professor in the Department of PM&R at the University of Michigan. After completing her PM&R residency at University of Michigan as chief resident, she attained subspecialty certification in Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Sports Medicine. In pursuit of her interest in biomechanics, she holds positions in UM's Post-Polio/Orthotics Clinic and the M-Perform (performing arts medicine) program. She provides neuromuscular and musculoskeletal education in the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs and taught for more than a decade in the Clinical Foundations of Medicine course at the UM Medical School. She has ongoing research projects in musculoskeletal education, electrodiagnostic medicine, and performing arts medicine.
