Overview
My interest in urology is mostly related to the impact of new cancer surgeries and technology. Urology as a practice is always on the cutting edge of technology, especially with robotics. In medical school, I was especially interested in the use of lasers and scopes.What I want my patients to know about me:I actually grew up in the Cumberland Valley area. My parents and extended family still live in Mechanicsburg so I moved back to be closer to family. I'm excited to start expanding the scope of what's being done with robotics. I did a fellowship in oncology, which is new to this practice. There is room to build cancer services here and I'm looking forward to providing that service so patients don't feel like they have to travel far away to receive great care. I'm also looking forward to spending more time with my family and being back in the area. It feels like I'm catching my breath after spending so many years in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exercising.
