Fernando J. Camacho, MD, is Assistant Professor, Oncology & Hematology at Montefiore Einstein. He has over 30 years of experience in community oncology and is the former Director of Community Oncology at Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care. This program was established to increase access to preventative and cutting-edge cancer care and research to Bronx and Westchester patients and families and enhance visibility of the Center for Cancer Care through education, outreach and community engagement.
His clinical expertise encompasses Multicentric Castleman Disease (MCD), Unicentric Castleman Disease (UCD), Castleman Disease, and Chronic B-Cell Leukemia (CBCL).
He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 21 peer reviewed articles.
