Herbert John Ingraham, MD, is an ophthalmologist and director of the Geisinger Eye Institute for the Geisinger Surgery Institute. Dr. Ingraham obtained his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his internship at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pa., and his residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. He completed his fellowship in cornea at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. Dr. Ingraham is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He provides free humanitarian eye surgery services locally and abroad through Mission Cataract USA and Surgical Eye Expeditions International.
