Dr. Jacqueline Dawson Dowe is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist at Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Dowe also completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplantation at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She also is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography and governor of the Kentucky American College of Cardiology. Dr. Dowe’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented her work extensively. Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Dowe served as the director of heart failure and women's cardiac health at a private practice. She also was the associate program director of the cardiovascular fellowship program, program director of transitional year residency and director of echocardiography at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Bowling Green.
