I enjoy caring for patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions including COPD, asthma, and lung nodules. I have a dedicated interest in quality communication with patients and families, and strive to bring an appreciation of the importance of good communication and positive interactions to my clinical care. I feel strongly about a collaborative approach that is tailored to each individual and that utilizes the strengths of all team members. For me, getting to know people over time is one of the most rewarding aspects of medicine, and I believe that knowing a person well is essential for providing high-quality care. Having lived in North Carolina, Michigan, New York, Oregon, California, and Washington states, I would have never imagined calling Minnesota home - until I had the opportunity to live here during my medical training and realized what a wonderful place it is. Now that I'm settled in Minnesota, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my dog, spending time with friends and family, and biking as long into the winter season as I can.
