Jeffrey Downing, APN, is a compassionate and highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse who has focused his career on urology since 2017. He is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care built on trust, open communication, and a sincere commitment to improving each patient’s quality of life. Known for his approachable and reassuring presence, Jeffrey strives to create an environment where every patient feels understood, supported, and actively involved in their care. Jeffrey earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Monmouth University in 2014 and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from La Salle University in 1998. With extensive clinical experience, he excels in diagnosing and managing a broad range of urologic conditions. He develops evidence-based, personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals, preferences, and lifestyle, ensuring care that is both effective and meaningful. He believes that excellent care begins with listening. Jeffrey takes the time to get to know his patients and their families, fostering trust and meaningful relationships that support continuity of care. “I strive to deliver comprehensive, compassionate urologic care by truly listening to each patient’s concerns and partnering with them to create treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lifestyle,” he says. “My approach centers on education, comfort, and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.” Outside of medicine, Jeffrey enjoys a fulfilling life with his wife, Cynthia, and their two sons, Nolan and Garrett. Nolan is an accomplished Eagle Scout, and the entire family embraces the outdoors through camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, and canoeing in the New Jersey Pine Barrens—and boating together on Barnegat Bay. Jeffrey brings both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to his work, making him a trusted partner in his patients’ urologic health journeys.
