He is the Course Director of the annual Developments in Ureteroscopic Stone Treatment (D.U.S.T.) symposium, an international meeting that has exposed hundreds of urologists to advanced ureteroscopy techniques. Within MUSIC, he is the principal investigator of two randomized clinical trials assessing patient health-related quality of life and healthcare use after ureteroscopy. Dr. Ghani has received numerous prizes for his presentations and research from the American Urological Association, Endourological Society, European Association of Urology, and has lectured and taught surgeons throughout the world.
