I listen to them and encourage them to talk about all of their needs while we’re together. There is nothing that I enjoy more than interacting with kids and their families, and there’s nothing more rewarding than caring for children. Whether I’m telling jokes, doing magic tricks, or speaking in my Donald Duck voice, I always try to find a way to bond with my patients. Helping children lead healthy lives! One of the most important ways I express this is through teaching. I love teaching at all levels, from my patients and their families to my medical students and pediatric residents. I am also passionate about evidence-based medicine, childhood advocacy, family-centered care and immunizations.
