Overview
I’m a physician assistant working in primary care and family medicine. I provide acute care for all ages and especially enjoy working with the 55+ population. I also help people with health maintenance and wellness exams. I enjoy working in primary care because it allows me more time to listen to people and get to know them beyond their medical concerns. My approach to care is to treat each patient as an individual. Even if people have the same diagnosis, treatment plans depend on each person’s circumstances and goals. That’s why I believe it is very important to practice informed shared decision making. This means collaborating with each patient (and family members when appropriate) to consider evidence-based guidelines along with each person's values and needs.
