Overview
Philosophy of care | I make every medical decision with a constant reminder to “do the right thing.” My goal as a trauma surgeon and critical care doctor is to be safe while striving toward your best outcome. I also recognize that outcome is determined by your goals, a fact I will always respect as I do all I can to help you reach them. | Why I entered medicine | I was exposed to medicine at an early age because of family illnesses. I was amazed how a team could save a life and have such a large impact on both the patient and the family. I chose acute care surgery because I believed I could have the greatest impact through its balance of trauma/emergency surgery and critical care. | Community involvement | I am new to the Lehigh Valley, but my wife is from Souderton. After a few years in California we are excited to get involved here. | Personal interests | I love spending time with family and being outdoors. I am always looking toward the next adventure with my wife as we travel in pursuit of great food, coffee and views. When I’m not traveling, you can find me hiking, working in the yard, trying out a new recipe, or watching hockey or football.
