Dr. Oladunni M. Enilari

Dr. Enilari is a fellowship-trained, board certified pulmonologist and critical care medicine specialist who treats patients in Newport News and Williamsburg. With expertise that spans the vast diversity of lung diseases, Dr. Enilari has special interest in interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, lymphadenopathy and lung nodules. She is highly skilled in point-of-care ultrasonography, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and a wide range of other ultrasound-guided procedures. Dr. Enilari understands that illness is a stressful situation and derives great satisfaction from being able to improve her patients’ symptoms and provide reassurance to them and their families. She is an advocate for her patients and works to provide the best individualized care for each person, each time. Patients will find that empathy, respect, integrity and open communication characterize Dr. Enilari’s approach. After earning her medical degree from the University of Lagos in Nigeria, Dr. Enilari obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed an internal medicine residency at Unity Health System in Rochester, New York and held a faculty position at Wake Forest Baptist Health Science Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She subsequently completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Enilari is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-specialty certification in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Enilari enjoys Hampton Roads for its weather, beaches and family-friendly nature. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
