
Overview
Rachel Roditi, MD is an attending Otolaryngologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Instructor of Otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Roditi is the Section Chief of Otolaryngology at Brigham & Women’s Faulkner hospital and has a clinical interest in rhinology, allergy, and pediatric otolaryngology. She has a particular interest in multidisciplinary medical care and works collaboratively with the pulmonology, allergy/immunology, and plastic surgery divisions to provide a comprehensive approach to sinonasal disease. She is a founding member of the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, which has been designated as a National Center of Excellence for the care of patients with this illness. She is also an active member of the Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease Center and collaborates on clinical trials and research projects in the management of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and sinonasal polyposis. She is an active committee member of the American Rhinologic Society and is a fellow of the American Rhinology Society as well. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Roditi holds multiple educational leadership roles including serving as clerkship director for the Otolaryngology portion of the Core Surgical Clerkship as well as for the Advanced Clinical Otolaryngology-Head & Neck elective. She served as Course Director for the PDII-Head & Neck Symposium, gathering educators from across institutions to teach examination skills to preclinical medical students. She has also lead the educational efforts for the head and neck curriculum for the new Practice of Medicine Course as Harvard Medical School transitions to the Pathways curriculum. She is also a member of the Society of University Otolaryngologists, the Academy at Harvard Medical School, the Residency Selection Committee for the Harvard Combined Otolaryngology Residency Program, and the Department of Surgery Education Committee at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
