Dr. S H. Mirzan

Dr. S. Hamad Mirzan is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. His unique training allows him to perform minimally invasive procedures while using medical imaging techniques as a guide. His skills include: Hepatobiliary nuclear medicine Venous and pulmonary embolism thrombolysis Tumor ablation Trauma services Biopsies Kyphoplasty Dr. Mirzan’s Training Dr. Mirzan earned his medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in affiliation with Harvard Medical School and was chief resident during his final year. His interventional radiology fellowship was also completed with Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Mirzan graduated cum laude when he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania. About Dr. Mirzan Dr. Mirzan is certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology with the American Board of Radiology. His research topics include splenic lesions, cystic lung diseases and bone diseases.
