Dr. Samia Mora

Dr. Samia Mora is a cardiovascular medicine specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).Dr. Mora received her medical degree from HMS. She completed an internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is actively involved with several randomized clinical trials and observational studies, and currently serves as the director of Core Biomarker Studied in the VITAminD and OmegA-3 Trial (VITAL). Most recently, she examined the association of novel lipid biomarkers and the development of cardiovascular disease in patients taking statins.
