Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Taylor Teplitzky attended the University of Maryland Medical Center for both medical school and internship residency. She then performed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Aside from her duties at Nemours, Dr. Teplitzky is an assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine. At home, she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in her favorite hobby, figure skating. I chose to treat children to work with and understand the different aspects of the family unit. I understand the importance of not just caring for the patient but providing a deeper level of care to the family as well. I’m passionate about improving the lives of my patients. The specialty of otolaryngology cares for most of the ways we interact with each other and our environment around us. For me, treating complications that can allow a child to better interact with their surrounds is truly a special opportunity. I make a difference in the lives of others by providing the highest quality of care and working with each patient and their family as a unit.
