Dr. Ian F. Pollack

Joseph E. Losee, MD, is a pediatric plastic surgeon certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is the Dr. Ross H. Musgrave Endowed Chair of Pediatric Plastic Surgery and executive vice chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at UPMC. Dr. Losee serves as the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, and an Advisory Dean of Students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is the co-chair of the UPMC Health System Physician Wellness Initiative. Dr. Losee received his medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Rochester and a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ward Richardson, MD, is a pediatric surgeon and is certified in both general surgery and pediatric surgery through the American Board of Surgery. He is director of the Benedum Pediatric Trauma Program and is assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Richardson is a member of The American College of Surgeons and the Pediatric Trauma Society. He is on the UPMC Trauma Leadership Council and is an instructor teaching Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is the proud father of two daughters.
