Dr. Govardhanan Nagaiah

Dr. Ortiz Cruz joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Center in September 2014, after completing her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at the University of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed two years of research at the National Cancer Institute | National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland where she was involved with clinical research in radiation oncology in addition to work with medical oncology. Dr. Ortiz Cruz also completed an internal medicineresidency training program at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. She has published several articles in scientific journals and presented at various meetings. Dr. Cruz's specializes in solid tumor and hematologic disorders with a special interest in breast, colon cancer and lymphoma. Dr. Kalmadi joined Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers in 2008 and serves as Chief Medical Officer.  After finishing his medical schooling in India, Dr. Sujith Kalmadi completed his residency training and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He then served as academic clinical faculty at the Cleveland Clinic School of Medicine (Lerner School) in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his tenure at these prestigious institutions, he pioneered several novel clinical research trials which have been lauded at national scientific meetings and published in peer reviewed journals. His areas of clinical and research interests include several solid tumors and hematological disorders. He currently resides in Chandler with his wife and three children, and enjoys tennis, chess and racquetball during his spare time. Dr. Neel Dharia joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in January 2012. Dr. Dharia received his medical degree from Mumbai University, Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College in 1999. His residency was completed in Internal Medicine at McLaren Regional Medical Center and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Dharia was a hospitalist at several Phoenix Valley hospitals between 2003-2007 and completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center (affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine) in Boston, Massachusetts from 2007-2010. He came back to Arizona in 2010 and is board-certified in medical oncology. Dr. Dharia's areas of interest include GI malignancies, melanoma, breast and lung cancers.You can find that team at Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers.
