Overview
Dr. Artis is board-certified in internal medicine and received her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her internship at the Medical University of South Carolina and her residency at Georgia Baptist Hospital, currently Atlanta Medical Center. Dr. Artis is a member of the Society of Internal Medicine, American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. Among her many interests in medicine, Dr. Artis takes a special interest in prevention and women's health. She believes her calling is keeping patients healthy- mind, body, and spirit. She loves helping people, and the gift of medicine is a bonus way to put forth that love. Dr. Artis is the eldest of a tight-knit family of eight and is very close with her family.
